Hello! I'm a DC & NYC-based content creator, writer, photographer, runner, and National Championship-winning Special Olympics flag football coach.
My journey began in the early 2000s as a Unified Preschooler — I was one of a handful of students without disabilities who attended the special education school where my mother taught. This experience normalized disability for me, and when I attended my other preschools and started playing sports, I was shocked at how few children with disabilities were present.
With those formative experiences and my natural disposition to tell and share stories, I now advocate for people with disabilities for a living — using narrative and social media as a vehicle to promote visibility and acceptance, and eventually, celebration.
I know there are still leaps and bounds of progress necessary in this work, and I am excited to bring innovative and new solutions to how to share these stories. As a digital native and Online Person, I keep my finger on the pulse to be part of what's coming next.
